SnapGO’s aim is to help reduce foods waste. Currently in Malaysia there are 11 million tons of food waste per annum and 1.2 billion tons of food waste worldwide per annum have been recorded. The company’s goal is to contribute to the earth’s environmental protection for future generations to enjoy a greener earth.
Many F&B businesses were forced to cease operations and close down due to the pandemic. Some have turned to online platforms and online delivery. The disadvantages of online delivery service platforms are the food may turn stale if delivery areas are too far. To tackle these disadvantages, some F&B owners invested heavily on cold chain systems to keep their foods frozen in order to have a farther range of delivery and to keep their foods fresh. To do that, they will need to setup cold rooms, freezers and chillers. This means higher electricity bills of up to RM20,000.00 a month and higher delivery costs. With SnapGO TDS technology, all the above adverse operational issues can be eliminated.
